Cider
Cider is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented fruit juice, mostly apple or pear. In Belgium, cider used to be quite common, but due to a bad image, most of our cider culture has disappeared. We at BelCider are doing our best to change this.
The principles behind Belgian craft cider:
- We use 100% Juice pressed from fruit. We don’t use concentrates
- Our products are made from locally sourced fruit and locally produced
- We support orchards that promote biodiversity and nature. Standard orchards are a good way to do this.
- We promote to work as ecologically as possible. This by reducing waste, using reusable or recyclable packaging and avoid disposable items
